Company Profile

Manufacturing Facility Profile

TS Aluminium operates a highly automated fabrication workshop located in Slacks Creek, QLD. Since our incorporation in 2021, we have focused on precision processing, advanced coating, and high-performance structural systems, delivering quality-assured extrusion components.

Our Manufacturing Infrastructure

Our workshop is designed for high-throughput architectural and industrial manufacturing. By combining heavy machinery lines with digital workflow systems, we offer:

  • Automated CNC Machining Centers: Multi-axis milling centers routing locks, hinge holes, and connection slots directly from digital 3D model profiles. We guarantee tolerances within ± 0.2 mm.
  • Precision Cutting Lines: High-speed double-mitre saws and heavy radial arm saws providing straight and mitre cuts for posts, beams, and window frames.
  • Powder Coating Shop: Standard-compliant pre-treatment wash and powder bake ovens using Class 2 super-durable thermosetting polyester powders for extreme UV and salinity resistance.
  • Material Warehousing: Direct stockpiles of architectural sunroom brackets, louver blades, windows extrusions, and structural T-Slot profiles.
"By running a vertically integrated warehouse and processing workshop, TS Aluminium handles everything from mill-finish raw stock to fully anodized, powder-coated, and custom CNC-routed assemblies, ensuring shorter lead times and zero outsourcing delay risks."

Alloy Grades & Technical Specifications

We process structural materials according to specific loading and geometry parameters. Our primary alloys include:

  • Alloy 6063 (Temper T6): Excellent extrusion surface quality and high corrosion resistance. Used for architectural doors, double-glazed window frames, and adjustable louvers.
  • Alloy 6060 (Temper T5): Standard framing grade with moderate strength. Used for cladding, brackets, and light-duty profiles.
  • Alloy 6061 (Temper T6): Structural grade with superior tensile strength (yield strength 240 MPa). Used for heavy patio beams, posts, and structural brackets.
  • Alloy 6005A (Temper T5): Heavy-duty industrial grade. Sized specifically for T-slot profiles and linear guide machine frames.

Extended Quality Assurance & Compliance Annex (AS/NZS Standards)

TS Aluminium maintains strict compliance with Australian and international manufacturing frameworks to ensure structural safety and product longevity. Our raw materials are sourced exclusively from Australian extrusion billers that supply fully certified mechanical properties records. Every delivery of 6061-T6, 6063-T6, and 6005-T5 alloy profiles undergoes an intake inspection protocol, during which dimensions are verified against the allowable deviation limits defined in AS/NZS 1866:1997 (Aluminium and aluminium alloys - Extruded rod, bar, solid and hollow shapes).

Our Slacks Creek facility utilizes a calibrated Vickers micro-indentation testing apparatus to check temper properties. Hardness measurements are recorded for each batch of profiles processed. This step ensures that aging oven operations successfully temper the alloys to their target tensile and yield limits (e.g., a minimum yield strength of 240 MPa for 6061-T6 post sections). For architectural surface finishes, we satisfy the provisions of AS 3715:2002 (Metal finishing - Thermoset powder coatings for architectural applications of aluminium and aluminium alloys). Our chemical pre-treatment wash incorporates degreasing and acid-etching baths to clean the metal, followed by a chromate-free conversion bath that establishes a reliable paint-bonding surface.

In addition to hardness and surface audits, our structural joinery and double-glazed windows undergo water penetration and deflection checks under Australian Standard AS 2047:2014. These checks verify that the co-extruded EPDM gaskets compress correctly to prevent leaks during severe storms. By keeping detailed quality records for all custom mould outputs and structural patio frames, we provide builders with verified material compliance certificates to support their council development approvals.
