On-Site Assembly & Structural Installation Services

TS Aluminium provides expert installation services for our building systems across South East Queensland. Our team handles every stage of assembly, concrete anchoring, flashing, and sealing, ensuring that your patio, sunroom, window, or louver system is installed in compliance with engineering requirements.

Concrete Core Drilling & Structural Anchoring

Installing heavy structural posts on outdoor concrete slabs requires precise anchoring to resist wind uplift forces. Our installation team uses core drilling to create deep foundation sleeves, or anchors posts using dyna-bolts and high-strength chemical epoxies. Glass panels are set in structural channels in compliance with Australian Standard AS 1288 for glass safety.

"By managing our own installation teams rather than relying on third-party contractors, we guarantee that all joint connections, weather gaskets, and structural fasteners are set to specifications."

On-Site Installation Process

  • Slab preparation: Verifying level constraints and layout dimensions before setting anchor points.
  • Structural assembly: Bolting rafters, columns, and interlocking roof slats to design tolerances.
  • Weatherproofing: Installing custom-bent flashing profiles and EPDM seals to prevent leaks.
  • Commissioning check: Testing louver rotation, automated motors, and drainage flow patterns.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are your installation teams licensed?

Yes, all our site installation supervisors hold QBCC licenses and are fully certified for structural work and window glazing assembly.

What anchoring systems do you use for patios?

We use chemical anchoring studs (M12 structural studs with epoxy) or dynabolts embedded in solid concrete foundations.

Do you handle glazing installation for high-rises?

Yes, we install commercial facades, glass sunrooms, and heavy sliding doors using crane assets and qualified glazing crews.

Standard Operating Protocols & Accuracy Validation

TS Aluminium follows standard operating protocols across all design, extrusion, and machining services to maintain tolerances. For on-site spatial measurement, our Faro 3D laser scanners collect spatial coordinates to map site features within a sub-millimeter margin of error. The spatial scan is registered into a single coordinate system, which is then imported into AutoCAD and SolidWorks to design structural joints that fit site conditions exactly.

For custom die mould manufacturing, we use melt flow simulations (Finite Element Analysis) to evaluate polymer/metal flow rates under extrusion pressures (up to 2,200 tons). This simulation prevents die deformation and ensures wall thicknesses comply with the allowable limits defined in AS/NZS 1866. For multi-axis CNC routing, tool paths are generated using CAD/CAM systems that set spindle speeds and feed rates (e.g., 18,000 RPM spindle speed with a feed rate of 3.2 m/min for 6061-T6 profile machining).

Our installation teams follow concrete anchoring protocols. Chemical anchoring epoxies require a full 24-hour cure duration at 25° C before structural loads are applied. Once installed, sliding sashes, EPDM seals, and latch hardware are adjusted using digital gauges to verify smooth operation and watertight seals, ensuring long-term durability.
